Strawberry Giant Review
If you haven’t heard of the Strawberry Giant yet (aka the Hanging Strawberry Garden) then you have come to the right place. Lets face it, our economy is in a meltdown, and prices at the supermarket are soaring, especially on fresh produce. If you want to offset some of your expences then you will love the Strawberry Giant, Hanging Strawberry Garden. It’s currently being advertised on TV and has been around for years. I bought mine last year when it was called the Strawberry Giant, but they have re-named it to the Hanging Strawberry Garden this year and it really is a more appropriate name. The strawberries that are grown plump, juicy, large and delicious strawberries, but I would not say they were “Giant”. I have bought some so-called Giant Giant Strawberries at the market several times and I have found that the Giant Strawberries did not have as good of flavor as the large strawberries. I live in Southern California and we have all kinds of strawberries that are grown locally and sold at roadside stands, so I am well aware of what makes for a good strawberry!
Even with the many strawberry stands located in my area, they are still quite expensive, so it just makes sense to grow your own strawberries if you love them as much as I do. The savings are astronomical, and the flavor of vine ripened and freshly picked strawberries cannot be beat! The great thing about the Hanging Strawberry Garden is that you can hang it just about anywhere with some sunlight and they will be up out of the way from pesky squirrels, rabbits and other things that may be cute, but a serious pest in the garden!
Another great thing about the Hanging Strawberry Garden is it really helps take the guess work out of gardening, and even if you don’t have a green thumb you will still be blessed with beautiful strawberries all year long as long as you follow the simple instructions that come with it. It is not rocket science, and the Strawberry Giant will keep your freezer full of strawberries all winter. I always add a heap of strawberries to my smoothies, but that gets pretty expensive when you have to buy them at the store!
You don’t need a whole bunch of space for a traditional garden, with the Hanging Strawberry Garden you can grow these Strawberry Giant strawberries easily by just hanging them up on a plant hook on your porch and you are ready to start your own little strawberry factory. They are super easy to grow, super delicious, and very inexpensive!
