Gyro Bowl Review

If you haven’t heard of the Gyro Bowl yet, it is a pretty cool new As Seen on TV product that uses some pretty crazy science to create a non-spill bowl for kids. If you’ve got kids, then you know the kind of messes kids can make when you start giving them a bowl or plate with snacks in it. You end up with cereal, candy, crackers, chips and who knows what all over the house it seems like! Well, the Gyrobowl can help eliminate the mess! This has got to be one of the best inventions made in a very long time.

I must admit, I was a little skeptical at first and thought the Gyro Bowl would be one of those things that only work as they film the commercial and wouldn’t work as well in real life. But, I went ahead and got it because my 3 year old Daughter can really make a mess if I turn her loose with some gold fish crackers or something like that. But, the Gyro Bowl actually works just as good as it shows on the commercial! It works so good I went ahead and ordered some more.

My husband has even adopted one of the Gyro Bowls to use in the garage to put nuts and bolts and junk like that it. He is one of those techno-geek types who gets all fascinated by anything new and innovative. It’s kind of cute. Not only is the Gyro Bowl kid proof, its husband proof too! haha.

Anyway, the Gyro Bowl also comes with a stay-fresh lid that works great for saving leftovers, or any unused goldfish crackers in my case. It cleans up easy by just popping it in the dishwasher. Its made of really heavy duty plastic so I just cant see how this wouldn’t last for 100 years!

Happy Nappers

Happy Napper Review

In case you haven’t heard about Happy Nappers yet, let me tell you just how cool these things are. My daughter is a bonafide Pillow Pet junkie, I believe she has the entire collection at this point. Then she saw the Happy Nappers and fell in love all over again. It amazes me how companies can keep coming up with such neat ideas for kids toys. Anyway, what I can tell you is my daughter hated taking a nap until I got her something fun to play with yet snugly in bed. She carries her Happy Napper around all day long and it has to go with us every place we go now.

Having a comfort item like a Happy Napper is important to kids and it teaches them to love and respect people and animals. As a parent, having something like a Happy Napper that your child is addicted too makes it so much easier to get your child to listen. All I have to do is pick up her Happy Napper when she is not listening and all of the sudden I have her undivided attention. When it is time for a nap, I pick up the happy Napper and take it to her room, and she immediately follows and climbs right into bed with it, no fuss no muss. They have a variety of animals to choose from and there should be one to satisfy every kids imagination I would think.

Like I said, my daughter loved her Pillow Pet, but the Happy Napper is really an improvement on the already brilliant concept of a transformable stuffed animal. They are animals, with an appropriate home to go along with them. This makes them much more interesting as a play thing than simply folding them up with a strap like a pillow pet. Fushigi Ball

If you haven’t seen the TV commercial for the Fushigi Magic Gravity Ball yet, it is one of the hottest as seen on tv items of the year! It is designed to confuse the senses and boggle the mind.

You can make the Fushigi Ball appear to float in thin air or even appear to move all on it’s own. It is not only extremely fun to play with, but is also very therapeutic. It is very relaxing to play with.

To me it looked like like the Fushigi Balls may be difficult to learn, but it really wasn’t. It comes with an instructional DVD to make it easy to learn. I was able to start doing some pretty cool tricks with it the first day, and have picked up some more advanced tricks pretty quickly.
